“Hi, I’m Delaney Ritchie! I am 12 years old. I am in the seventh grade. One of my favorite hobbies is art. I paint or draw almost every day. I’ve been around bikes my whole life. Also my mom and dad race. I love to watch Moto GP races. One of my favorite racers was Marco Simoncelli. Two of my favorite bikes are the GSXR 1000 and Yamaha R1. I just decided to race randomly and I had a great time racing motards with all the boys and I have no girlfriends who race. Motards are dirt bikes that you put street tires on and race on go-kart tracks. My first race was CRP in Columbus, Ohio. I didn’t really train for my race. I just woke up and was like I want to race and I felt good about it. When I won second place I was really excited and really happy I didn’t think I could do it. I can’t wait to race again in a couple of weeks!”
